Documentation and Licenses
Before any food manufacturing company can produce any of its goods, it should first receive a license to operate (LTO) from FDA. VBC is not exempted from that rule, which is why we have this document, as well. This certification allows our company to continue producing food supplements and other health products.
We have also obtained several certifications from the agency. For instance, our Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) certificate attests that we are consistently employing the best practices in our manufacturing processes. It is also a testament that we abide by the strict rules and regulations set by authorities when it comes to creating our goods.
Here at VBC, we do our utmost to ensure that we adhere to the industry’s strictest standards. For this reason, we created a team responsible for reviewing our processes and ensuring that we follow the regulations implemented by governing bodies, particularly the FDA.
Trademark Application
Many of the products we manufacture here at VBC are registered in trademark offices in the country. Those goods typically bear the official logo of a registered trademark in the Philippines. The brand name, the logo, and other important information are included in the product’s label.
Additionally, we follow FDA’s guidelines regarding labeling the goods we create and pack. Before putting any claimed health benefit on the label, we ensure that the product positively affects a person’s well-being. We do that through our quality control and assurance processes that employ scientific methods to prove such claims.
To get the approval of the FDA regarding our health claims, we first submit the necessary requirements. The agency will conduct a thorough assessment of our product. Several qualified experts will review and test the product to see if it provides consumers with the health benefits it promises.
